Why Humming Mask?

The Humming Mask is humming for you.

The Humming Mask® is a new “patent pending” massage-face-mask that can be used as a substitute for natural humming, by creating facial resonance, in the exact frequency as it occurs by natural humming. It targets the exact right locations in the face, the frontal sinuses, (in the forehead), the maxillary sinuses (behind the cheekbone) and the etmoid sinuses, (directly above and behind the nose-bone). This humming follows a specific time cycle, to regulate quantities of nNO being inhaled.

Monks and Yoga practitioners are amongst other examples of people who do the humming technique typically hum while they are meditating, doing mantras or simply to relax as time permits. With the humming mask meditating in not necessary any more. The Humming Mask® “is humming for you”, boosting the release of nNO from our sinuses by 10 times or more, allowing us to inhale in a way that is relaxing and provides a state of rest. Using this kind of humming is peaceful and comforting, while at the same time allowing us to benefit from the increased levels of nitric oxide needed for an optimal function of the body.

When we grow older,… all we need is “nNO”

The Humming Mask® has been developed in Europe by Anton F.M. Bende, a Medical Ergonomist, in cooperation with Vital Health Products ltd. and other breathing specialists. The development took 2.5 year and is based on medical research of  “Natural humming” and nNO, (nasal Nitric Oxide) conducted in the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm (Sweden). (*2). This study shows that “Humming” will help increase the level of NO in the body up to 15 times.

Source: the  Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Karolinska Hospital, and Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden: “Humming caused a 15-fold increase (range, 8–21) in nasal NO compared with quiet exhalation.”  “Humming causes the air to oscillate, which in turn seems to increase the exchange of air between the sinuses and the nasal cavity.” (*2).

When reading more in detail about the technique of “humming”, you will notice that the function of the Humming Mask is obvious and easy to recognize. Because of this, the operation and design of the mask is kept simple, yet attractive, enabling effortless use.

Here, we can bear out. “Simplicity is the hallmark of truth.”  (Albert Einstein).

Who need to Hum and Why?

In general, everybody who passed the age of 40+ can benefit from humming. Much of the current research and official testing indicates that the restoration of NO levels due to humming prevents and even cures discomfort and illnesses, especially geriatric diseases as a result of the body’s loss of NO production capabilities over time.

Nitric oxide is well-recognized in many studies as  a regulator, vasodilator and enhancer of our basic health. After the age of 35- 40 years, we begin to lose our own  capacity of  the natural NO production, which disturbs important  and basic functions such as blood flow, intensive and deep sleep, as well as several other functions requiring use of our “smooth muscles”. Smooth muscle is found within the walls of our blood vessels, arteries and veins. It is also found in lymphatic vessels, the urinary bladder, uterus, male and female reproductive tracts, erector pili of skin and more. Nitric oxide is needed for the proper function of the important smooth muscles in the body.

The development of the humming mask was first intended to increase the quality of sleep only, but numerous testing over years lead to the discovery of even more health benefits. Ready-to-use nNO, being naturally produced by our sinuses, inhaled through the nose into the lungs and transported into the blood stream provides much-needed NO for every cell in the body.

With reference to these studies and tests, we have determined the three most valuable uses of humming, and have made recommendations for the use of nitric oxide in combating these health issues:

– High blood pressure (hypertension).     (Normalizing pressure within days)
Humming time:       3 times a week 20 minutes

– Sleep disorders.      (Improved within the first time of use )
Humming time:        Daily 10 to 20 minutes before each sleep

– Enlarge prostate/excessive nightly toilet trips.
(Improves in just  days of use)
Humming time:        3 times a week 20 minutes

Increasing NO while using the mask is proved and guaranteed. It can be measured with simple tools such as blood pressure measuring device and test-strips.

Improvements in terms of blood pressure and the quality of sleep have a significant impact on the well-being and quality of life. You can expect a 7-9 hours sleep cycle as you are using the HUM, to reverse the loss of NO in a comfortable and relaxing manner !

Recent new tests:  Dry AMD (Age-related macular degeneration)
Recently we received new information concerning the effects of humming on dry AMD  among a number of customers  who have  been humming for 2 to 4 months. The result is very impressive, reporting a rate of 50-90% steady improvement. These improvements are a result of increased blood flow and increased draining of the old cells, reducing  the development of “Drusen” in the Retina. These effects were observed on “dry” AMD (dry age-related macular degeneration) and were achieved after two to four months of humming.

Reduced production of NO can adversely affect blood flow and other vascular functions. These findings suggest that there is less Nitric Oxide produced in AMD eyes. The decrease in retinal nNOS in AMD eyes is probably related to neuronal degeneration. The decrease in nNOS and eNOS in AMD choroid could be associated with vasoconstriction and hemodynamic changes. Menopause. We have also received new evidence from several women aged 50+, who have reported great results from humming during only a few weeks. This occurrence is supported by Christiane Northrup, MD, in her book, The Secret Pleasures of Menopause, where she describes nitric oxide as “the actual molecule that determines physical, emotional, spiritual and sexual wellness in menopausal women.” (*5)

Then, in this year 2015, Published: Monday 13 April 2015 at 3am PST: This findings also in relation to AMD (oxygen transport). New findings on how red blood cells deliver oxygen from the lungs into the  tissue  may mean; it is time to review the text books on how the respiratory cycle works. In the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, cardiologist Jonathan Stamler, a professor of medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH, and colleagues describe how they conducted a study that shows the respiratory cycle involves three gases and not just two. The current convention describes the respiratory cycle as using blood to transport two gasses – oxygen and carbon dioxide.  Red blood cells pick up  inhaled oxygen from the lungs and carry it to the cells in the tissues of the body, and bring back carbon dioxide – a waste product of metabolism – to be exhaled from the lungs. But  from  they have found, Prof. Stamler and colleagues argue that the respiratory cycle also involves a third gas – nitric oxide – that controls the release of oxygen from red blood cells into the tissue that needs it.- Prof. Stamler proves; “blood flow to tissues is actually more important in most circumstances than how much oxygen is carried by hemoglobin. So the respiratory cycle is actually a three-gas system.” This and many more studies explains the basic reasons behind this function and assures security on your investment in this product (*5).

Effect of Nitric Oxide on High blood. NO is also well known as a safe vasodilator. High Blood Pressure or Hypertension is caused, among other disorders, by clogged up arteries as a result of the lack of NO. Each cell in the body needs oxygen for optimize its function.  A better blood flow by increased NO, is the definition of how humming functions . The effect of humming is visible directly / immediately after the first two or three treatments, reducing or eliminating  the use of drugs against high blood pressure.
